Grant & Catherine’s Wedding
Arriving at Mt Keira we could see the fog rolling in. The groom and the boys arrived, looking hansom as ever. The fog seemed to go around the mountain. Everyone was watching to see if there was going to be enough light for the ceremony. The bride arrived with her girls, mum and dad. Unsure who was more nervous the bride or her dad. The girls were able to arrange the long train so that whenthe bride entered it flowed. As the bride approached, the groom could not take his eyes off her. All the children formed a part of the bridal party and enjoyed the ceremony standing very tall. The ceremony began, plenty of light for everyone, a lovely ceremony aknowledging the children as one family, a padlock ritual was performed with some of the children throwing their keys and the girls keeping their key to the locks around their neck as a reminder of the special day. The final ritual was to drink a glass of wine and then break the glass. The groom thought it was for him to put his foot down. The bride reassured everyone this would be the first and last time. Everyone shouted let the party begin with a beautiful family to celebrate with. I wish Grant & Catherine all the best for a long and happy life together.
