Stephen & Amanda’s Wedding Day
Unfortunately the weather was not good for the Wedding’s outdoor venue. Last minutes changes well I should say 40 minutes prior to the bride arriving the back up plan was enforced. When all the seating had been adjusted and after some consultation with the groom, bride via phone, groomsmen and the photographer a quick change to the reception venue room was implemented. All hands on deck, chairs moved to the new location, room set and approximately 15 minutes to spare.
The bride arrived very calm accompanying dad with her three bridesmaids. The music commenced everyone entered and then the look on the grooms face told the story-he could not take his eyes off his bride. The bride’s dad handed his daughter over to the groom and then the tears flowed, the bride, her dad and even her mum had a few tears- the bridesmaids had a few tissues to hand over but also needed them. All these tears were tears of joy.
The ceremony continued with parents and grandparents the first to congratulate the newly married couple. Just when the family were to have photos – the rain commenced again. Only a short window of opportunity would have been available with the weather today. I am sure the photographer was able to get some great shots.
